BGB email list is back

The server that the BGB email list is hosted on had a disk failure on July 5. We have re-subscribed anyone who has ever posted to the list in the past. Lurkers who never posted need to re-subscribe by emailing bgb-request@battlegroupboston.org.

War of the Ring

This game used a 6'x8' board and mixed HOTT with some advanced DBA rules to create a fun, very dynamic game! Check out the after action report here!

On The Bounce!

On the Bounce! is Ransom Trimble's modification of Battleground for use in portraying battles from Starship Troopers. Here is his first after action report:

Operation Market Garden

Yes, fiendish game designers are always at work at BattleGroup Boston. This time Peter Mancini debuts his first pass at his modern HRCT rules using Arc of Fire. You will need a copy of Arc of Fire to play these rules. Updated to ver. 1.01

AoF countersheet! These counters are great for keeping track of just about everything in Arc of Fire -- especially if you are using the special wounds and critical hits rules.

Playing Games with BGB

BGB meets on the second Saturday of each month (on the third if teh second Saturday lands on a holiday weekend) at the Hobby Bunker in Malden Center. Games scheduled for the near future include such topics as the glory and confusion of battle in the Napoleopnic Era and a taste of the hell that was a day in Korea in 1951.
