Havoc! XL (2026) Miniatures Gaming Convention
Havoc! is the premier miniatures gaming convention of the Northeast and has run continuously for 39 years, well…except for the two Covid-19 years. We will hold Havoc XL (2026) at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel, Marlborough, MA. The cost for players is $50 for the weekend and $20 for game masters. Hours and sessions will be:
- Fri., Mar. 27 2026, 6:00pm – 11:30pm, 1 session
- Sat., Mar. 28 2026, 8:00am – 11:30pm, 3 sessions
- Sun., Mar. 29 2026, 9:00am – 4:00pm, 1 session

Every year we present two awards at Havoc!:
- The Dave Award, in honor of Dave Donovan, friend and mentor to us all. It is BGB’s recognition of excellence and is given to the best of show event at each Havoc! Check out the past winners;
- The Al Award, in memory of Al Garnache. This award is given to the game master that puts on the event with the most visual appeal. You can see the past winners.
Don’t want to pay to view convention? That’s O.K. you can get in Free. We’ve always allowed visitors to come by and view all the games and visit the dealers.
Do you need a roomie? Post a request on the Havoc Facebook page to find someone to room with.
Some important convention dates to keep track of:
- Nov. 1, Event submissions open. Badges are not required to submit events;
- Feb. 2, Event sign up opens;
- Feb. 24, Last day to sign up for a hotel room in the Havoc! block;
- Feb. 28, Event submissions ends;
- Mar. 20, Player pre registration ends. You can always register at the door.
